Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive method of facial rejuvenation through the use of aluminum oxide microcrystals. This method makes the skin smoother and improves its quality. Through this technique, the outer skin layers are peeled off triggering the production of collagen and elastin.

Microdermabrasion is recommended in cases of skin lesions (caused for example by photoaging), deformities, superficial scars and wrinkles. A small swelling and redness are to be expected the first few hours after the treatment. However, they usually disappear in 1 or 2 days. After the treatment, sunscreen should be used in combination with moisturizers.

Microdermabrasion can be combined with other non-invasive treatments in order to maximize the smoothness, firmness and glow of the face.
